Pilot  Project of Computer

Considering the importance of computers as basic requirement in today’s world of Information Technology, one needs to have in-depth knowledge for functions and use of computers.
Rotary club of Cosmopolitan Ahmedabad has proven track record to serve society by helping Anganwadis in Daskroi Taluka of Ahmedabad District, Gujarat.
To give competitive edge with help of knowledge for functions and use of computers, RCCA initiated extention of its program to teach computers to young ladies associated thru Anganvadi. To begin with RCCA provided 7 number computers to selected Anganvadis.
At present 18 students as listed below are undergoing computer training. Considering COVID restrictions and safety norms, RCCA has achieved one more mile stone with this wonderful project.

Solid Waste Project

Kitchen waste management and segregation in Biodegradable garbage bags

To impress upon masses the importance of garbage segregation and getting them in a habit of using environment-friendly garbage bags. The entire club members and others through them were involved to carry out the project and reach. It was an activity that made the club come together as a unified entity. Garbage bags were procured and were distributed, sold or donated by all members. It was a small fund raising, and a publicity project.
